DELIVERY & CARRIAGE
Please contact us for expected delivery lead times for our tables and treatment aids. These products are made to order.
Clinic consumable products have a delivery lead time of 1 week, but for gowns this is dependant upon stock availability.
All delivery lead times and delivery dates quoted by Atlas through any means of communication are an approximation; We will endeavour but cannot guarantee to meet them. We assume that a delivery date within a 2 week period before or after the approximated delivery lead time / date constitutes delivering within a reasonable time.
Delivery dates are not specified as “time is of the essence” unless Atlas Clinical agrees in writing, and a delivery date and “time if of the essence” is written on the invoice.
Delivery costs for most products will be calculated by the online store before you checkout.
If you believe that the online store has not calculated an appropriate delivery/carriage cost, please contact Atlas Clinical directly by phone or by e-mail for a personalised quote.
Likewise, if you are an over-seas customer, you must contact us directly by phone or by e-mail for a personalised quote on delivery.
NOTICE OF CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS:
In the event of a problem, defect, or mistake with an order, the customer should in the first instance contact Atlas Clinical Ltd. directly by post, e-mail, or phone. (Unless it has been bought through a 3rd party).
The customer must obtain prior authorisation from Atlas Clinical Ltd. to return defective parts and mistaken orders, or to have repairs performed by non-Atlas Clinical Ltd. personnel.
CONSUMER CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
For individual consumers who are purchasing goods for private or family use, and not for clinical, professional, commercial or business use.
Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)
- As a consumer purchasing goods online, you have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
- You may cancel your order at any time from the moment you place it up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or someone you nominate, receives the goods (the “cooling-off period”). You do not need to give a reason for cancellation.
- To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (for example by email or by post) before the cooling-off period expires.
- If you cancel within the cooling-off period, we will reimburse all payments you made, including the cost of standard delivery (but not any supplementary delivery charges incurred when you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard option). We will process the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we receive the returned goods, or 14 days after you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
- Returned goods must be in their original condition and, where applicable, in their original packaging.
Your statutory right to cancel does not apply to certain categories of goods, including (but not limited to) goods that have been personalised or made to your specification, bespoke or custom orders, goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons and that have been unsealed after delivery, or goods that have been mixed inseparably with other items after delivery.
BUSINESS CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
For customers who are purchasing goods wholly or mainly to be used to treat paying clients, in a clinic, or other professional or business setting or use.
- If you wish to cancel an order that has not been delivered you must obtain our agreement in writing.
- An order must be cancelled before delivery & acceptance of the goods.
- To cancel your order, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (for example by email or by post).
- If we accept your cancellation, and you have already placed your deposit, we have a right to retain some of your deposit to cover reasonable losses incurred. We will process any refund, minus the portion of the deposit retained, without undue delay.
- You may cancel an order without penalty if we fail to deliver the goods within a reasonable time, or if Atlas indicates that we cannot fulfil the order.
- You have the right to reject goods delivered if they are not as described, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for the specified purpose, or don’t match a sample that was sent.
- If you wish to reject the goods for breach of the terms above you must do so within a reasonable time.
- If the reason for rejection is for a minor breach of the terms that is so slight as to be unreasonable to reject the goods, you may only be entitled to claim damages instead of rejecting the goods.
- If you wish to return a recently delivered order, then you must obtain our prior agreement in writing. We may wish to recover costs in connection with the return as part of the agreement. After successful return of the goods, we would process any refund, minus an amount to cover related costs and any damage to the goods, without undue delay.
- Our policies, terms and clauses are not intended to affect the statutory protections or implied terms under the Sales of Goods Act 1979.
