These were the first consolidated designs of the HiLo table. The HL3 was the only HiLo table to be able to perform passive lateral bending, thanks to it sharing the Mainframe Concept style turntable.
The Mainframe tables were our best-selling tables for 20 years. Their reliability and attractiveness helped Atlas Clinical establish an excellent reputation, and they can still be found in many clinics today. Still working in as good order as the day they were delivered.

The motor used in the original concept tables was renowned for its reliability and longevity. Take away the only electrical component, and you have a table that is basically bulletproof.
The RX series was introduced in 1990, and at the time, it was a ground-breaking design. The steel framing was completely concealed with moulded ABS plastic covers, and the design also saw the first incarnation of the automated, motorised, oscillating flexion distraction & traction pelvic section.
The G series table was introduced in 1993 and evolved from the popular features of the Mainframe Concept tables, combined with the improved appearance and function of the RX series. These two designs would eventually be combined to form the RG series.
Laurie Hartman, Associate Professor of Osteopathic Technique at the British School of Osteopathy, was involved with the design of this table from an early stage to produce what we regard as the best osteopathic treatment table ever made.

The un-motorised static version of the Generation table continued to be sold decades after the motorised version, as the rectangular sub-frame was highly suitable for placing legs. This table was finally replaced by the SRM2 table, a first for a static table to allow for deep flexion distraction.
The RX version of the palpation unit was designed to match the RX table, and to be a companion diagnostic aid in the same treatment room. The Concept version of the palpation unit made do without the plastic covers and continues to be produced today.
